EFFA General Assembly 2017

The EFFA General Assembly 2017 took place in London (UK) on the 21st of September. It was the opportunity to update our members on all the progress made by EFFA during 2017 and an outlook on 2018. The session was followed by a debate on the 'Potential consequences of Brexit for the UK and EU food Business'. Representing more than 300 European SME's this is a very important topic for EFFA. We had the participation of Peter Wilding from British Influence and Tim Renders, Deputy Director, Exports and EU Exit at the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

The meeting was followed by the London FlavourDay, which took the form of a Gala Dinner on the evening of September 21st, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the UK Flavour Association.

As is customary, the previous day, on September 20th, there was an EFFA Board meeting, followed by a dinner for all General Assembly delegates.

Thank again to our colleagues from the UK Flavour Association for hosting this meeting!
