What a privilege to have the EFFA General Assembly in Badalona (Barcelona) last week. The Spanish association made sure all EFFA members experienced the mediterranean hospitality and gastronomy.
As every year, it was the occasion to give the EFFA membership an update on the regulatory, public affairs and communications topics and projects from all three Committees.
An important highlight of the day was the Flavour of the Nordics presentation. Inspired by the Flavour of Europe concept, it explores what the flavour of the Nordics mean for their members and created two beverages and two flavoured chips, with unexpected tastes liquorice chips and pine & red currant drinks.
As always, it was a pleasure to have the global update from the International Flavor Organization, IOFI, Sven Ballschmiede.
And last but not least, after a successful UK Flavour Day in May this year, organised by the UK Flavour Association, save the date for the Berlin Flavour Day on the 12th of November organised by Deutscher Verband der Aromenindustrie e.V. (DVAI) and more to come next year!
