At the last European Association Summit (EAS) 2020, taking place in Brussels on the 10th and 11th of March and gathering association professionals from all over Europe, EFFA was invited to provide a session on Membership Engagement.
The European Commission (EC) has recently published a Roadmap on the Farm to Fork Strategy where it recognises that a sustainable food strategy is key to achieving the goals of the European Union Green Deal.
On 31 January 2020 the United Kingdom officially left the European Union. We are now in a transition period, during which the future partnership will be negotiated. We hope a suitable agreement between the EU and UK will be reached by the end of the year.
EFFA is happy to be co-signatory of the new Joint Paper ‘A long-term strategy for Europe’s industrial future: from words to action’, an initiative of the Industry4Europe coalition.
